We are seeking a Deli Associate, 3-4 days a week, to join our team. Shift runs weekdays from 12:00 -6:15 p.m. with occasional Saturdays. The ideal candidate for this position has experience with customer service and retail or food service. We are looking for energetic, reliable candidates with a passion for food who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with lots of variety. Applicants must be over the age of 18 to use commercial slicer.
Responsibilities:
- Making sandwiches
- Waiting on customers
- Using our point-of-sale system
- Answering phones
- Stocking
- Slicing meats, cheeses, and vegetables
- Organizing walk-in pop-cooler & stockrooms
- Putting away deliveries
- Cleaning
Candidate must also:
- Demonstrate the ability to work well with customers & co-workers.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, especially during busy periods.
- Possess knowledge of local cuisine and products.
- Demonstrate experience in customer service or retail operations.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 36 per week
