Overview:
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Birthday Coordinator to join our team. The Play Place is a children's indoor play and sports facility that caters to Elementary ages and younger. The Birthday Coordinator has the opportunity to work in various areas of our facility including the cafe, sports classes and birthday parties.
Given the nature of our business we are looking to build a strong team of individuals who are able to work as a team and jump in where needed. We are looking to build our weekend team who are responsible for the majority of our sports classes and 99% of the birthday parties we host for families. We also have an open play option for families so team members may need to assist with this.
This is a great position for any one interested in gaining experience in customer service or working with children.
Duties:
- Set up and break down any area you are responsible for your shift.
- Provide top notch customer service during work hours.
- Create a fun and inviting space for the participants.
- Assist in cleaning the general building at the beginning and end of your shift.
- Take charge of the space you are assigned to and make it your own.
Skills:
- Some exerpeice working with children is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and provide exceptional service
- Knowledge of physical education principles is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 20 per week
