The revenue team is looking for a Director of Digital Sales Growth to help drive the expansion of customers’ use of the GitHub platform. The Director of Digital Sales Growth plays a pivotal role in driving strategy with cross-functional teams to deliver on solutions that will ensure the 330K+ customers in Digital Sales are able to grow efficiently with GitHub.
The ideal candidate will have sales, marketing, and program experience; with a proven track record of rallying cross-functional teams to deliver results with a ship to learn mentality. They will be instrumental in finding ways to grow customer platform use and ultimately revenue for GitHub.
Responsibilities:
- Formulating customer growth strategies for accounts with 26-100 developers

Grow revenue of ~$200M under management by working closely with marketing, product, data, operations, and engineering teams

Lead efforts to create lead Recommendation Engine promoting effective and efficient sales prospecting

Develop & execute strategy to drive customer plan upsell conversions

Lead SKU expansion for Digital Sales

Design, plan, build, and execute cross-functional Product led growth experiments to support and promote renewals, license purchases, upsells, etc

Work with MSFT SMC & SMB business units to drive net new customer acquisition and growth

Act as primary liaison with Digital Customer Outcomes team to drive alignment with customer onboarding and growth objectives
Qualifications:

10+ combined years of sales, marketing, developer tools, and/or program management experience

2+ years experience in driving a consumptive business

Experience with Devops and DevSecOps, with understanding of Application Security, AI tools, and CI/CD

Compensation Range: The base salary range for this job is USD $117,960.00 - USD $313,020.00 /Yr.
In addition, this role also has the opportunity to earn sales incentives. On target earnings (OTE) is based on a 60/40 base salary/sales incentive.
These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
