Your Responsibilities: Your role as a transport driver is crucial to our business! You are delivering an essential product to company and Blarney Castle customer locations, while helping build and maintain our customer relationships. This position is based out of Eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan, with dispatched routes scheduled for you by our local dispatch team. You will service areas local in nature within a 100 mile radius. This means sleeping at home! Please be comfortable communicating clearly. A focus on small details and directions will be key, to enusre accurate electronic log records and driver sheets are completed correctly. Safety should be a number one priority in order to stay compliant with Federal and State DOT Regulations and for the safety of yourself and others. You’ll want to take pride in your vehicle by maintaining its basic needs and performing pre-and-post trip inspections. The majority of our fleet is equipped with 13 speed manual transmissions.
Class A Commercial Driver’s License, Air Brake, Tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements are required, along with at least 2 years of experience operating heavy haul equipment.
