Full Job Description
Conceptualize, design, and produce Medline brand product packaging as well as other branded and private label packaging for retail/store placement. Produce other collateral, advertising and other print materials to promote the Medline brand and other retail brands. Ensure brand consistency and utilize the architecture defined in the Medline style guide and/or build brand identity and consistency across retail branded products line.
Plan, analyze, create, develop and produce product packaging solutions and other one-off marketing pieces as needed by working with the Brand Director and Creative Director and applying the Medline style guide or retail branded design style.
Provide art direction for illustrations and photography.
Manage a project from the conceptual stage through final production, including the preparation and release of final art for prepress and printing. Create mock-ups for presentations.
Work within tight time frames and within tight budgets; ensure delivery is met and project is completed within budget.
Work closely with copywriters and product managers in the creative development of persuasive marketing materials.
Visually translate medical and technical information into relevant, persuasive, intelligent and impactful design.

Bachelor’s or technical degree in Art/Design. Relevant Work Experience
At least 2 years of design experience within an advertising agency, in-house marketing department or medical related field designing collateral, advertising, sales and promotional materials. Additional
Advanced computer skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Mac platform experience preferred), InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Ability to effectively communicate, sell and brand through successful design.
Strong knowledge and understanding of print production.
