At 321 Ignition we put our customers (car dealerships) and their customers (car shoppers) first in everything we do. We are growing, onboarding new dealerships and launching new products and looking for UX/UI designer to support our growth.
You’ll be part of a dynamic Product Team involved in all aspects of onboarding new customers from brainstorming to working collaboratively with other designers, engineering, product marketing/management to bring it to life. We work nationwide with multiple brands, across devices and platforms, in a diverse and collaborative environment. You will be building experiences that help millions of people enjoy their car shopping experience on a mobile device.
We are looking for a user experience designer that is passionate about conceiving experiences and then driving that vision into solid design deliverables including wireframes, high fidelity designs, and prototypes. You set high standards for yourself and the team in developing car buying experiences that delight customers and help dealerships achieve their goals.
You have a solid understanding of the current state design best practices, visual design, and branding, user-centered design and prototyping. You are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Create user-centered designs by considering market analysis, analytics, customer feedback, user research and technical constraints/opportunities
Create wireframes, high fidelity design mockups and prototypes to effectively conceptualize new product initiatives and features
Develop detailed car shopping experiences, working closely with engineering to see your design through to deployment
Communicate design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences, including customers and teams
Work with management and stakeholders to drive design schedules and influence business priorities
A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating effective user-centered design solutions with measurable results
Ability to prototype with software or with HTML/CSS
Desire to work in a start-up style environment, where iteration is encouraged
Design acumen demonstrated through design end-to-end product ownership
Proven ability to work cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from business leaders, product management, and engineering (working directly with developers for implementation of designs)
7+ years of experience as a user experience designer or similar role
Experience designing digital advertising solutions and/or branding
Experience with designing products for e-commerce
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
This job can be remote, or you can work out of the office in Bellevue, Washington.
This is a full-time position, and very fast-paced
Our CEO is located in Bellevue, Washington, and customers are nationwide. While you can be located anywhere, in any time zone, some conference calls required to be during business hours in Pacific Standard Time (PST).
