Responsibilities
The Sr. Manager, Supply & Demand Planning is responsible for all Supply Chain planning functions for the OTT Ortho business, overseeing the S&OP process, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management and P&L reconciliation. The position manages overall performance of the supply chain to meet current and future customer demand, while aligning strategies and tactical activities across sites in Austin Texas and Lyon France.

Responsible for the S&OP process to ensure reliable product supply across all global markets developing both short-term and long-term strategies.
Responsible for maintaining appropriate inventory levels of finished goods, work in process, and raw materials for instruments, implants, and sets ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Establishes global Master Scheduling processes to level load production; ensuring stable, predictable and reliable supply with collaboration across plant production planning teams.
Responsible for P&L activities; plant absorption, mix model planning to optimize product margin.
Develops, manages and tracks supply metrics; works with Plant Managers to optimize supply performance and track product availability.
Lead S&OP reviews with sales, marketing, finance and supply chain management. Plant site liaison for S&OP process. Communicate shortages and constraints
Responds to production problems and pursues/implements remedies to such problems.
Manages product lifecycle management in accordance with S&OP process outcomes.
Drives continuous improvement in supply chain management best practices.
Works closely with PD and Quality supporting new product transfers into Operations.
Works closely with QA supporting FDA, ISO, Customer audits of Plant Operations.
Participates on due diligence teams to evaluate potential acquisitions, when requested.
Promotes constant and effective communication channels at all levels to maintain a stable and productive work climate for collaboration and teamwork.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
BA/BS in Supply Chain Management or Engineering (preferable Industrial required. MBA preferred
Advanced certification (e.g. APICS CPIM) is preferred
Lean or Six Sigma certification is preferred
15+ years of supply chain experience both demand and supply planning activities
10+ year in Ortho/medical device industry with structured S&OP process
Proven record of establishing supply planning processes; Master Scheduling and Inventory specifically, with demonstrate results to P&L required
Work experience in implementing S&OP or Demand Planning processes a plus.
Experience working with consigned product / trunk stock preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency in master scheduling, rough cut capacity planning, inventory planning and materials management required.
Excellent business acumen, including demonstrated abilities and leadership with financial analyses, business case preparation, NPV, ROI, and data-driven approach
Strong leadership skills and capabilities

Experience in leading cross-functional teams and project management
Effective written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a matrix organization across all areas of the organization

Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Proficient in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Materials Requirement Planning (MRP).
Experience working with Demand Works Smoothie products and Tableau a plus.
High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook.
