The Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Glenfiddich, is looking for an authentic, passionate, credible, and influential Brand Ambassador to join the team. The Brand Ambassador role is home-based and a full-time position dedicated to luxury brand building, education, and supporting sales-driving activities for the Glenfiddich in their market. The role will focus on forming educational and essential relationships with influential consumers, industry trade, and luxury media – while leveraging their existing relationships to act as an expert in their field.
Main Responsibilities
Brand Education & Relationship Development (50%) Brand Ambassadors are credible experts in the category, brand, and their local market. Not only are they known for their depth of knowledge through enrolling storytelling, but they also leverage their high levels of emotional intelligence to cultivate relationships and influence purchase decisions with the media, trade, high net worth consumers, and other key stakeholders.
Brand Management & Event Activation (40%)Brand Ambassadors are the face of the brand and an extension of the marketing team. They build desire for the brand and drive impact for the business. They seek and create opportunities, capitalizing on them by building programs that drive consumer trial, advocacy, and purchase.
Compliance & Reporting (10%)Brand Ambassadors love to share and give visibility of the activities they do with others. Like all WG&S employees, Brand Ambassadors must also complete all internal responsibilities and activities in compliance with William Grant & Son practices and policies.
Our ideal candidate enjoys the limelight and requires a dynamic, dedicated, and entrepreneurial individual with a hospitality-forward mindset along with strong presentation, project management skills, and multitasking skills to aptly manage travel schedule while executing a variety of activities on behalf of Glenfiddich. The Brand Ambassador will be a spokesperson for Glenfiddich and will play a crucial role in elevating the brand as a luxury single malt both internally and externally. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a creative mind-set, a passion for whisky and a knack for growing and influencing their network. Our Brand Ambassadors are incredible presenters and story tellers. They are also strategic, innovative and deliver results. They set high standards and exceed consumer and customer expectations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Essential:
- Strong background in spirits, either through professional experience or personal interest
- Excellent communication skills, verbal & written
- Creative & innovative thinking
- Strong influencing & partnering abilities
- Interpersonal effectiveness
- Entrepreneurial and self-starter
- Ability to act as a consultant within team structure
- Must have a vehicle to travel within local market and have satisfactory motor vehicle report
Desirable:
- Spirits industry knowledge and experience preferred
- Experience and/or knowledge in luxury goods preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
