The Paragon Organization is looking for software engineers to participate in the design, development, test and maintenance of complex mission application software and database applications. Paragon has long term / on-going work in support of multiple programs in various phases of their life cycle. You will have the opportunity to design and implement complicated math/physic intensive algorithms, support inter-component testing to ensure the mission is successful, and work with operations to allow the operators to most efficiently use the software. You will have the opportunity to expand your technical skill set by writing software in a variety of development languages (e.g. Java, C++, C#) on various Operating Systems (e.g. Linux, Windows)
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance required to start.
Must have experience in some or all of the following object-oriented languages, technologies and operating systems:
- C++, Java, C#, Unix/Linux, Windows, Oracle/SQL.
- Excellent team orientation, oral and written communications skills.
- Program has a strong preference for candidates currently cleared at the TS level with SCI access.
- Domain knowledge of a mission planning and scheduling or command and telemetry system.
- Scripting languages (Perl, Shell)
- Agile software development experience.
- An aptitude for math and physics.
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented, development environment
