At Kraft Heinz, Ownerversity (our Corporate University) and its 9 Functional Academies help employees #LearnLikeAnOwner so they can build the skills to execute their current role with excellence, accelerate their learning curves and grow great careers. The Finance and Legal Academies are designed to support Capability and people development of employees in these functions, both directly at the Global Headquarters level and in partnership with the 3 zones. Building upon the foundations of the launch of the Finance and Legal Academies in 2020, we are creating innovative learning experiences in immense whitespace. This L&D Lead will own strategy, design, development and delivery of learning experiences that reach 1,500 global Finance employees and 100 global Legal employees. In addition, this role will own learning for global Ethics & Compliance at Kraft Heinz.
Collaborate with HQ HRBPs, Capabilities/Excellence/Transformation/Experience teams, executive leaders and subject matter experts to create a multi-year Capability Development plan. Lead the Skill Building pillar from learning needs analysis to delivery.
Own the strategy, design, development and delivery of learning experiences for each Academy on a global scale, including overall project management, budgeting and vendor management where appropriate.
Finance Academy Focus: Partner with the Global Finance Transformation Office to jointly plan and develop learning experiences to align with business priorities. Work closely with the zone learning teams (including the Head of FP&A in the I-Zone) to consult and collaborate on existing learning programs.
Legal Academy Focus: Recommend high-impact learning experiences to support the total legal team as well as individual learning needs for critical roles.
Ethics & Compliance: Partner with the E&C team in legal to transform the culture of E&C learning at Kraft Heinz. Design effective communication to employees to increase transparency. Enhance the quality of the learning experiences to improve employee engagement on-the-job application. Improve participation and completion tracking for best-in-class external reporting.
Consult with the zone learning teams to amplify and build upon global offerings. Closely connect global Revenue Management work to the US Capabilities Revenue Management workstream.
Curate the Finance Academy and Legal Academy home pages in Ownerversity to feature a robust learning library. Partner with the zone L&D teams to add zone specific content within global quality standards.
Manage the intake of and assignment of ad-hoc learning requests and requirements from across the organization
Contribute learning design expertise to the work of the greater Global L&D team
Demonstrate value and progress by measuring KPIs in alignment with the learning functions’ quality and effectiveness objectives; lead the annual rituals and routines as needed to integrate learning, performance, and our yearly objectives
Bachelor's degree required
5-7 years of experience in a similar role
Modern adult learning experience including learning vendor management and application of current and emerging trends, including delivery of high-touch and high-impact in-person programs for mid and senior level leaders.
Prior experience working with subject matter experts and business leaders with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships, gain their trust and respect, and apply advanced persuasion skills to not only influence others to buy into your point of view but also inspire them to move your point of view forward
Ability to work independently, create project plan, set direction/priorities, and work directly with key stakeholders, including senior leaders, to ensure timely completion
Demonstrated ability to lead indirect teams effectively, including raising potential risks, developing contingency plans and confidently sharing recommendations with supporting reasons
Big picture focused, with the ability to identify the larger impact of an issue on the overall L&D team, Kraft Heinz and related systems and partners
Superior interpersonal skills (written, verbal, presentation) with the ability to adapt style to audience in the moment and share content in a compelling, engaging and immersive manner
Data oriented, with competency in gathering and analyzing data, identifying patterns and deriving insights to show impact of learning. Ability to independently determine what data or report is needed to show impact of a project, create a story to share that impact and build rituals and routines for ongoing stakeholder engagement.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Willing to travel minimally, as needed
