Our Operating Room:
16 OR Suite
Teamwork environment where you will be responsible for helping everyone in the department (i.e. Scrub Cases)
Types of surgeries conducted: Thoracic, colorectal, general gynecology, gynecological oncology, general surgery, otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat), urology, and urogynecology

What will you do?

Receive, clean, process, assemble, and distribute medical supplies, equipment, and surgical instruments.
Acquire, distribute, and charge all disposable supplies and patient rental equipment.
Prepare, assemble, and package all medical equipment and instruments for surgical services and other hospital departments, including the restocking of code and isolation carts using the exchange cart system.
Sterilize all reusable equipment, supplies, and instrumentation, and maintain and operate Central Sterile equipment.
Handle, transport, and store sterile equipment and pull supplies and instruments for surgical cases using the case cart system.
Help direct the workflow in Central Sterile Supply, set priorities, and meet deadlines for department.


High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Completion of Central Sterile Supply Certification Program (required)

Certified Central Sterile Technician (required)
Previous experience as a Central Sterile Tech (required)
