As Territory Manager, you’ll be responsible for account sales and impacting relationships with account branch management, distributor sales personnel, targeted end users, retailers and distributors. Experience with Paint, Hardware, Lumber & Building Materials Territory Sales required. This individual will work from a home based office, preferably in the Albany area. This role is responsible for the territory of Southern New England, Upstate NY.

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • A minimum of 2-4 years sales experience in retail hardware industry
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated, customer oriented and a self-starter
  • Ability to analyze territory performance reports and develop sales territory business plans.
  • At least 40% overnight travel
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes + R5, Laptop, Desktop Usage
  • Experience with developing relationships with Distributors and Retailers is required (Lumber and Hardware)
