Travel Technology Sales

Responsibilities
We have an outstanding opportunity for a Director of Travel Technology Sales. The ideal candidate will work with the sales and account management teams to demonstrate travel-related technologies for Ovation Travel Group.

As a member of the team, the individual will participate in client and prospect facing meetings to demonstrate and discuss Ovation’s technology offerings. The candidate will need to have an in-depth understanding of managed travel programs and be effective at written and verbal communication to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and conduct travel technology demonstrations for prospects and clients. This includes but not limited to: SAP Concur Travel, GetThere Travel Tool, Deem Travel, Ovation Business Intelligence Reporting, Configuration of Sabre Global Distribution Tool, SAP Concur Compleat Configuration, and proprietary mobile and reporting tools.
Align with marketing to ensure consistency of all client related technology collateral.
Develop content to be included in client facing collateral.
Respond to sales and account management inquiries regarding existing implemented technology.
Understand complex business needs and translate them into functional requirements.
Provide best practices to prospects and clients.

Qualifications

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or related field or equivalent experience required.
5-10 years in the Travel Management industry is preferred.
Client-facing presentation experience a must.
Travel is required 80% of the time.

Ability to present and be a subject matter expert regarding travel technology and travel processes
