As a Transportation Project Manager and a key member of our practice leadership team, you'll work with the most talented and diverse team of engineers, architects, and planners in the Portland transportation market. You'll lead Portland metro-area multimodal streets projects integrating transit, active transportation and sustainable solutions. And you'll work across the State and US West in support of a broad range of transportation policy, planning, design and construction projects. You'll bolster our team by providing project management, operations management, practice leadership and business development strategy as your interests and talents align. Working with other members of the team, you'll provide business management and administrative direction for projects including engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) contractual commitment; coordination of schedules, budgets and office administration during construction and client contact through the entire project. During your time with us, you will lead project pursuits, scope, budget and schedule development/management, and have P&L accountability, as well as ensure compliance with the scope of work and design criteria. The minimum qualifications for this position are:
Professional Engineering registration (PE) in the state of Oregon, or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire
BS degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline
At least 10 years of progressive experience in transportation design projects
At least 5 years of project management experience
Ability to demonstrate key client interface skills
