GPD is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer in our Indianapolis, Indiana office location.

The ideal candidate will possess:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 7+ years of experience
Must be experienced in Retail/Commercial design
HVAC Design and Plumbing Design Experience
Proficient in Building load calculations (Carrier Hap / Trane Trace)
Sizing and selection of HVAC Equipment
Steam and High temperature system design preferred, but not required.
Proficient with ASHRAE 90.1 and 62.1
5 or more years of experience required
Professional Engineer license is preferred
Ability to work with minimal supervision, maintain client relationships and manage sensitive project information
Candidate should be AutoCAD and Revit proficient
Some travel required for building surveys and construction administration
Valid Driver’s License is required
