OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for all aspects of services at the community. Daily directs the finances, operations, and physical facilities of the community. Is responsible to the Owners, State, and other legal entities for the services provided to residents and their families.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS Reports to: Director of Senior Operations Supervises: Resident Care Coordinator, Food Services Director, Marketing Director, Assistant Administrator, Activities Director, Administrative Assistant, Receptionists, Housekeepers, and Maintenance Worker. Interfaces with: Residents, families, visitors, owners, and associates.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES

Directs the daily operations of the community, meets or exceeds Western States Retirement Communities' standards of service.
Maintains the dignity and privacy of all residents. Protects all resident rights.
Operates the community within established budgets. Recommends and implements programs to increase revenue and control expenses. Assists in the development of annual operating budgets and explains significant variances from approved budgets. Submits to owners annually a capital budget.
Manages associates ensuring that all personnel policies and procedures are followed. Recruits, retains, trains, and directs associates. Ensures that compensation, including benefits are managed with established budgets. Ensures that all laws and regulations that pertain to employment are obeyed.
Manages census to maintain stabilized occupancy and proper levels of care.
Directs the community marketing efforts to ensure occupancy and communities presences in the at-large-communities.
Maintains the physical facilities in good appearance and working order. Meets all standards for sanitation and cleanliness.
Works closely with all regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all rules, regulations, laws, and statutes pertaining to the licensing of an assisted living community.
Maintains and protects the confidentiality of resident information at all times.
Supervises all staff in a manner that encourages top performance and growth of subordinates.
Performs other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Meet qualification standards for Assisted Living Facility Administrators established by the state in which employed.
Experience in the general management and operations of a health care facility, preferable in long term care.
Ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, supervisor, employees.
Enjoy and willing to work with the elderly.
