This role as a CIS Lead for Disruption, Foresight & Capabilities will primarily focus on 1) partnering with a disruptive innovation cross functional team to unlock and pilot a new agile innovation capability for KHC, with an eye to bigger, better and faster disruptive innovation 2) shape the vision and plan for KHC whitespace platform opportunity identification to fuel future agile innovation workstreams and 3) influence the building of foresight capabilities, a future-first mindset and consumer obsession for KHC

An Owner: This is a role for someone who has an entrepreneurial, growth mindset and craves a challenge balanced by the desire to be accountable. It is both a strategic and a tactical position. Willingness to get your hands dirty, think and act like a start up, and build out a function against a blank slate without buying pre-packaged solutions or methodologies is a must!
Strategic : Be a thought leader key & strategic business partner. Leverages creativity in approaching and tackling problems, new and different ways to bring vision and structure to gray space, deep empathic understanding of how the consumer thinks and behaves to generate insights, design thinking led research methodologies/techniques, to drive the business forward.
Collaborative : Ability to build effective partnerships within and across agile pods and build bridges with functions across the organization.
Comfortable with ambiguity : Thrives in ambiguity and working in the ‘gray’, while showing strong drive for results and project leadership skills. Proficient in Whitespace definition, work in ambiguous spaces to carve out direction for team and KHC.
Flexible : Be flexible, creative and able to adjust to changing priorities and continuous learning loops in KHC’s bespoke agile methodology.
Influential : Influence at all levels of organization and work seamlessly with cross-functional teams to drive results. Must be comfortable interacting with senior leaders.
Impactful: Drive to "so-what’s" by making actionable recommendations routed in deep understanding of marketing, business and consumer. Showcase strong communication skills, pull disparate pieces of data together into a cohesive and compelling story.
Self-Starter: Ability to demonstrate a high degree of independence, resiliency, sense of urgency and leadership/ownership, with limited oversight.
A minimum 8 years of solid Strategic Insights/ Market Research experience (ideally 5+ on client side)
Proven experience leading design thinking and Agile methodologies for advancing innovation:
Design thinking tools such as empathy mapping, persona & consumer journey.
Designing & executing assumption led research sprints in partnership w/team.
MVP development/ solution validation
Understand how to use consumer needs, emerging trends and technology advances to map the future
Past experience and proven track record of results in traditional innovation and consumer insights capacities
Proficiency with new product innovation and custom research methods for CPG products, both qualitative and quantitative
