Provide project controls support assistance to the Corporate Project Management and Controls team in the following areas:
Identifying projects where funding in Akima’s Contract database does not match funding entered into Akima’s accounting system (Costpoint).
Accessing and logging all contract modifications on a projects with funding errors, logging the totals into a spreadsheet and then comparing the totals to Akima’s systems.
Once errors are identified, the errors are corrected using preprocessor files to be uploaded into Costpoint.
Assists with employee timesheet cleanup activities
Helps coordinate project controller forums and lunch bunch presentations
Other special project assistance as time permits
Must be a NANA Shareholder and own stock in “NANA Regional Corporation, Inc.”
Business or finance-related college degree
Experience working with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
Ability to work independently, self-motivated, proactive
Track record of delivering well-organized and accurate work
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience using SharePoint
Understand the different contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M and FPLOE)
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
General office environment; no special physical demands required
