Role Summary:
Role Summary/Purpose

The Network Security Architect will provide direction & execution of global network security initiatives for BHGE’s global enterprise and manufacturing environments. The successful candidate will be highly collaborative and possess broad technical skills with the ability to implement security changes across a large organization.

Essential Responsibilities

In the role of the Network Security Architect, you will:
Define strategy and technology roadmap for Network Security Architecture, assess, and deliver technical solutions, policies, standards for BHGE’s enterprise and manufacturing environment initiatives
Provide technical and full end to end project management aligned to roadmap
Lead projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business and be a recognized expert in Network Security
Lead projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business and be a recognized expert in Network Security (IT & OT)
Act as liaison between the business and Corporate for Network Security initiatives
Partner with multiple BHGE and GE Digital teams to architect technology solutions that deliver cyber security controls for global sites
Deploy cyber security controls for protecting BHGE’s critical IT & OT assets placed at global sites including acquisitions
Help define reference architecture for securing Acquisition & Integration (A&I) sites globally
Execute and prioritize work to meet deadlines. Evaluate new threats, solutions and the impact on IT and Business operations
Enterprise network security process standards
Work with customers and operations teams to define repeatable reference network security architectures
Determine network security requirements and prepare cost estimates by evaluating business strategies and requirements
Conducting system security and risk assessments, identifying security gaps and implementing enhancements
Plan and coordinate the implementation of network security systems by working closely with cross-functional teams
Preparing preventive and reactive measures, providing technical support and completing documentation
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering from an accredited college or university OR (High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or Institution with a minimum of 4 years of industry experience)
Minimum 7 years of information technology experience
Minimum 4 years of information security experience
Eligibility Requirements
Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% as required
Desired Characteristics
Familiarity with NIST SP 800-82, ICS-CIRT guidelines, SCADA control systems, SCADA firewalls' configuration
Familiarity with DoE, NIST, & ISO security requirements
Experience with secure network architectures, identity and access management principles, application security, encryption technologies, DNS, SOA, database and web applications
Experience with ethical hacking, firewall and intrusion detection / prevention technologies, secure coding practices and threat modeling
Broad background in the following areas: computer / OS security, network security, hardware security, firmware security, and embedded platform security
CISCO and/or Palo Alto Network certification
Familiar with Palo Alto and/or CISCO Network infrastructure device (routers, switches, firewall)
CISSP or CISM certified
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
Proven ability to deliver while under tight timelines
Demonstrated ability to proactively analyze and solve complex problems.
Excellent communication skills including both verbal and written
Previous experience delivering presentations, in particular to senior leadership audience
Proven ability to persuade and influence outcomes
