Customer Service Representative for Maryland-based call center serving Maryland residents seeking health insurance coverage.
During your training (3 weeks) and nesting (4 weeks) period, you must be able to provide your own equipment. Compatible computers: Windows 10, MAC OS 10.14 (Mojave) or higher. Webcam, along with a headset.
. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of high-volume Call Center AND with Healthcare-related customer service experience. We're seeking candidates that are passionate about providing an exceptional customer experience in a remote call center receiving a high volume of calls.
Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative
· Answer inbound phone calls to provide information and assistance regarding health care insurance options.
· Update customer and account information as needed.
Update case records and notate purpose of call.
Utilize multiple database applications as resources.
· Be open to feedback for continuous improvement and growth.
· Respond to general customer inquiries
· Strive to meet performance metrics for continued professional growth opportunities.
Requirements of the Customer Representative Inbound
· High school diploma or equivalent - College attendance/degree is preferred
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Minimum 1 year of Call Center experience
· Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience
· Computer proficiency
· Ability to learn and understand health insurance policy and terminology to provide the best solution to customers seeking assistance
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and interact well with (consumers and coworkers)
· Ability to problem solve, prioritize and multi-task (utilize multiple computer applications while talking to a consumer
· Must be flexible, reliable and available for occasional overtime as needed
· Must be able to pass required skill and knowledge assessment tests
· Able to commit to 3 weeks of class training without missing any time from work (days of training)
Able to commit to 4 weeks of supervised call taking (nesting) without missing any time from work
Pay information:
$16.13 Day 1 -120 Days
Call Center Hours
The call center is currently open Monday-Friday from 8am to 6pm
Training hours- 3 weeks + 4 weeks of nesting
Training is Monday-Friday
Full-time 40 hours per week
