Outside Sales B2B Account Representative

Aggressive copy/print equipment dealer looking for a motivated self-starter to expand our client base in the Capital District and beyond.

Dataflow is a dealer for Xerox, Canon, KIP, Mutoh printers/copiers/scanners and related software solutions. We have been in business since 1958 with 6 locations across the state. We have long standing customer relationships and consistent recognition for outstanding customer service. Our core markets include architecture, construction, higher education and healthcare.

The Account Executive is responsible for prospecting, cold calling, writing proposals, facilitating client meetings, and developing an enterprise-level relationship with clients.

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

  • Most importantly must be an outgoing, aggressive self starter.
  • Ability to build relationships with clients through leads and cold calling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to methodically execute a sales plan to hit required sales targets.
  • Industry experience preferred but not required
  • Computer skills pertinent to the job, such as MS Excel, Word, CRM software and internet based file transfers.

The protected territory is from Poughkeepsie up to Glens Falls, with a large concentration in the Capital District. We offer an aggressive commission rate plus base guarantee, benefits including a health insurance stipend, vacation pay, car allowance, phone, and computer-

Account Executives are expected to complete weekly call reports, attend daily sales meetings, keep our CRM system up to date, initiate calls with new potential clients, with or without direction or leads from the sales manager, and ultimately hit sales targets. You will make presentations of various company offerings; hold lunch seminars; expand upon our services provided to current clients; take clients to lunch, golf or other social engagements etc. to strengthen business relationships.
