Support Americas Sales Director and sell corporate products to businesses and industrial establishments or individuals over the telephone by performing the following duties. Will act as a support to our Americas Sales Director and Applications Engineers by creating quotes, following leads, and maintaining the customer database.

1. Core responsibilities

a. Sales Support

i. Investigate and contact prospective customers for potential sale of services and products using telephone and e-mail from qualified leads.

ii. Manage incoming orders / calls from customers concerning sales opportunities. Create quotes and or Order Configuration Forms as required.

b. Customer Service support

i. Liaison between Sales, Applications Engineers, Operations, and R&D Departments to coordinate system issues and inquiries.

ii. Track and communicate customer shipments.

c. Service scheduling / Record retention

i. Schedule and implement all aspects of ‘Evaluation Demos’ or trade shows, as dictated by Americas Sales Director, including availability, crating and freight arrangements

ii. Maintain service schedule for system installations and or service calls.

iii. Maintain CRM data base including current and potential Customers, also all pertinent system information.

2. Experience, Education and Competencies Required

a. Experience:
i. Minimum 2 years of experience in customer support and inside sales.

ii. MS Office proficiency, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

iii. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

iv. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

v. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

b. Education:
i. At least an Associate’s degree in Sales/ Business preferred.

c. Competencies:
i. Work well independently and within a team environment.

ii. Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills.

iii. Knowledge of operations procedures.

iv. Strong attention to detail and strong planning skills.

v. CRM Database experience preferred.
