Job Summary
As a Service Technician at KISAN America, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of our cash handling equipment such as cash counters and sorters, smart safes, and cash recyclers. You will be responsible for the technical support, repair, and installation of our machines for our clients. This position requires a customer-oriented professional with technical expertise and excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical support, repair, and installation of cash-handling equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hardware, and software issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
- Provide training and support to customers on the operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Maintain detailed service records and manage inventory of spare parts and tools.
- Respond promptly to service calls and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and technical support.
- Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve complex issues.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and confidentiality.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; technical school certification or associate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in servicing electromechanical equipment, preferably in the cash handling industry.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools and electronic testing equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
- Comfortable working on-site at various client locations.
- Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
