MAHEC seeks to hire a full time, benefited Marketing and Communications Specialist to handle various marketing, communications, and graphic design initiatives. Requires the design and implementation of publications in support of the mission of MAHEC. Specific responsibilities will include designing print and electronic publications; managing the logistics associated with commercial printing and email marketing; interviewing and writing articles for publications and the MAHEC web site; designing exhibits and materials for various health fairs and community events.
The ideal candidate must possess strong graphic design skills and have knowledge of pre-press production requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop required. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills required as well as a commitment to excellent customer service.
Any combination of training and experience equivalent to an Associate's Degree in Journalism, Marketing or Communications and at least three(3) years of communications, marketing, journalism or other relevant experience required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
