We presently have an opportunity for a Senior Manager with the PGA TOUR Tournament Business Affairs Department. This individual will work as a part of the Tournament Business Affairs team which maintains the day-to-day relationship between the TOUR and PGA TOUR tournaments. They will form and implement ideas which will help our tournaments market and promote their events, thereby increasing revenue and attendance.

Qualified candidates will have the following:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sports Marketing, or related field

3-5 years of Business, Sponsorship, Sports Marketing, and/or related work experience

Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and One Note

Strong writing and proofreading skills

Experience in creating sponsorship proposals

Excellent client service skills

Ability to multi-task

Highly organized and self-motivated

Strong sense of teamwork

Ability to fulfill a potentially extensive travel schedule

Responsibilities:
Communicate daily with PGA TOUR events

Compose weekly internal briefing notes on behalf of Tournament Business Affairs to outline current business landscape for tournaments and title sponsors

Understand tournament marketing objectives; track and record successful products and promotions for use in Tournament Reports and Best Practice site

Organize and update financial summaries, agreements, reports, key performance indicators for Peer Group events

Manage strategic planning calls/documents and track progress for Peer Group events

Participate in and track progress on all tournament business calls and other tournament updates

Create sponsorship proposals for Official Marketing Partners in concert with tournament partners to create additional value for Official Marketing Partner platforms and new revenue opportunities for tournaments

Assist Senior Revenue Director with all aspects of the Tournament Incremental Revenue program including prospect identification, proposal writing, contract execution and client services

Provide support and assistance to department VP’s, Directors and Sales Directors in their ongoing role with the PGA TOUR Sales Support Program

Assist and participate in tournament visits (tournament week/non-tournament week). Prepare customized decks to include (but not limited to) sales structure/responsibilities, product ladders, calendar/timelines, and analytic reports and coordinate follow up and next steps
