Business Analyst

RightCrowd is looking for a Business Analyst to join our expanding delivery team working with blue chip clients across the globe.

This position is full-time and would be working out of our office located in downtown Seattle.

As a Business Analyst in the Professional Services group, you will engage with external clients and internal stakeholders. You will be the vital link between our customers, their requirements and our solution delivery by supporting the successful completion of analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks of our software products.

A successful candidate will have the experience to work effectively on multiple client projects concurrently with varying degrees of complexity. The candidate should have commanding client engagement skills and be comfortable working independently. The candidate should also exhibit excellent task management skills and the ability to plan and co-ordinate with internal development and project delivery teams.

Your Role:

  • Work collaboratively with the client's project team to support key project outcomes, derive quality requirements and ensure excellent client communication.
  • Develop and document project collateral including business requirements, technical and functional specifications and test scenarios.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients liaising with other internal resources to obtain updates and input as necessary.
  • Conduct internal meetings with staff across multiple global locations to maintain and drive project momentum
  • Perform user acceptance testing using solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

Required Experience:

  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Working knowledge of SQL querying
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
  • Advanced technical skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Good balance between business and technical acumen and be quick to learn new concepts
  • Demonstrable experience collaborating with business management, project managers, IT, product development teams, etc
  • Experience in Agile project methodology would be a plus
