The Sales Analyst plays a role in assisting the Company achieve goals through projects that translate customer needs into new products, services, and profits more efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities - To simplify complexities for each customer
Assist or prepare sales proposals, financial models and forecasts for sales team.
Administer sales tool (Salesforce.com); facilitating configuration of tools to meet the needs of the sales organization.
Gather, analyze, and distribute sales data. Work with internal partners to apply sales data to organizational development.
Maintain close coordination with marketing team to assist and continually strategize to support delivering a highly engaged and efficient sales process.
Serve as the "go to" person in Sales to find information, answer questions and represent VP, Sales and Marketing in his/her absence.
Drive ad-hoc projects and effectively execute them as requested.
Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university plus two years related experience and/or training in a business environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working in sales environment or working with market analysis strongly preferred. Experience with Salesforce preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Familiar with all Microsoft Office capabilities (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to take minimal direction and run with it
Must have excellent time management and task planning skills
Strong collaboration and influencing capabilities
Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
Duties are performed primarily in an office setting. Travel to attend meetings and visit locations throughout the country may be required. Operate computer and standard office equipment such as telephone, copier, and printer. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
