The City of Groveport Police Department is seeking to fill a professional support position. This position will provide receptionist/office support duties in a law enforcement environment.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative/organizational skills, outstanding customer service and computer/data entry skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality and work with documents of a sensitive nature.
A high school diploma plus one to two years relevant work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities is required.
This position will work an average of 25 hours a week - Monday through Friday between 9:30 am and 2:30 pm and fill in as needed for vacation and sick time coverage. Starting Salary Range of $12.71/hr. to $16.58/hr. based upon previous experience.
The successful candidate must be able to pass a Law Enforcement background (BCI and FBI) and be able to obtain security clearance through LEADS.
