Customer Service Representative - 10:30a - 7:30p shift

The Customer Service Specialist is the first point of contact for all the 401(k) participants in regard to their 401(k) retirement account inquiries & needs.The Customer Service Specialist is responsible to provide the upmost Customer Service experience via several channels, including phone calls, emails & chats. This position will provide the Customer Service Specialist with an in-depth knowledge of the 401(k) industry, IRS, ERISA and Department Regulations as they apply to distributions, account transactions, tax withholdings, official notices, plan document analysis & many more.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist participants, employers and payroll providers in the administration of the 401(k) plan
  • Working in a fast pace environment while maintaining a professional demeanor
  • Answering phone calls by providing friendly & professional assistance to all participants 401(k) inquiries
  • Provide excellent customer service by adhering to the customer service phone call standards & etiquette
  • Ability to multi-task by answering phone calls & processing emails and/or chats.
  • Provide PEO and Employer Portal Reports
  • Provide participants with status updates on all distributions
  • Understanding of all processes & distribution types, including Termination, QDRO, Force-out, etc.
  • Assist participants in navigating the Slavic401(k) website
  • Direct participants on how to make allocation and contribution changes online
  • Understand the enrollment process & entry requirements
  • Understand the BeSpoke investment model as well as other investment options
  • Assist participants in enrolling into the 401(k) plan
  • Answering compliance questions for the administration of the plan
  • Problem solver with exceptional customer service skills

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Previous Call Center & Customer Service Experience
  • Bilingual-English/Spanish preferred but not required
  • Working Knowledge of MS Office programs
  • College degree is a plus, but is not mandatory
  • Must be team-oriented as well as being able to work independently
  • Problem solver with exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
