WOMEN & CHILDREN
This position serves as the Ryan White Part D link between patients, community, volunteer network members, program coordinators, collaborating organizations and UHS departments to improve the quality of health outcomes and engage low-income, HIV positive and HIV-affected women, infants, children and youth living in our service area. Will support engagement activities that support access, retention and treatment in care for women, children and infants who are living with or exposed to HIV. The position will coordinate with state and local HIV prevention outreach programs to address service category needs; establish and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, volunteer network members, collaborating organizations and UHS departments; participate in related community events and health fairs; and provide patient feedback and insight to leadership to assist with program development. Promotes University Health System programs and identifies areas for collaboration.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum two years of college or two years of experience in conducting community-based outreach or youth and young adults centered activities preferred. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
A valid Texas State DL operator's license "Class C" and must maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
