Intercultural Family Services Inc. is looking for a dedicated Psychiatrist to join our clinical team. The candidate will need to be able to come on-site 1-2 days a week and will need to be able to complete 10-15 clinical hours per week. This is an Independent contractor position (1099).
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Psychiatric evaluations and diagnosis
2. Medication management
3. Sign off on treatment plans
4. Participate in clinical supervision meetings
5. Clinical Consultation-work closely with the outpatient therapists to coordinate comprehensive care
6. When appropriate may be asked to consult regarding crisis intervention
7. Documentation and Compliance- maintain accurate and confidential records of
psychiatric interactions and treatments
8. Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations
9. Submit weekly invoices
Qualifications:
- Current and valid DEA registration
- Current and valid Pennsylvania Medical license
- Degree in Medicine or Osteopathy from an accredited school OR valid medical degree from a foreign school of medicine plus evidence of successful completion of ECFMG examination AND completed psychiatry residency
- A background check in accordance with state and federal regulations; State Criminal Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance and FBI Clearance

- Meet Insurance requirement
- At least five (5) years of experience providing mental health treatment.
- Participation in and completion of all CBH mandatory in-services.
- In compliance with all state and discipline-specific standards and regulations.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Computer proficiency.
- Experience in a multiracial and multiethnic environment.
- Ability to motivate and deal effectively with line supervisors to achieve maximum performance goals.
- Knowledge of and sensitivity towards communities of diverse ethnicity.
