Job Title: Pediatrician
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatrician to join our private practice healthcare team of eleven providers at La Mesa Pediatrics.
As a Pediatrician, you will be responsible for providing medical care to infants, children, and adolescents. Your primary focus will be on diagnosing and treating a variety of pediatric illnesses, injuries, and conditions.
Duties:
- Conduct routine check-ups on pediatric patients to assess their growth and development.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses specific to the pediatric population.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for pediatric patients.
- Perform vaccinations according to established guidelines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for pediatric patients.
- Educate patients and their families on preventive healthcare practices.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all pediatric patients.
-Rounding newborns in two hospitals
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Pediatrics.
- Valid state medical license to practice as a Pediatrician.
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols.
- Proficiency in ICD-10 coding.
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on compassionate treatment.
