KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Supply Chain Ops/Service Specialist III
Summary: Performs complex to specialized support to areas of the supply chain or operations, such as identifying operational or service concerns, running and analyzing operational reports, and interfacing with carriers on requirements. Generally requires full knowledge of customers and carriers, addressing complex or escalated internal or external customer questions and concerns, and providing more complex customer service, quotes and tracking and tracking needs.
Receives and processes documents for accuracy, which requires complex knowledge of customers, carriers, and procedures.
Processes operational data in software systems and applications, identifies missing or potential operational or service concerns, and resolves with the appropriate groups.
Utilizes databases, logs, and other sources to locate and verify information; information is usually complex in nature.
Identifies and completes services or assists others that require special or expedited handing.
Addresses complex or escalated internal or external customer questions and concerns regarding shipments, billing, status, services, carriers, and other needs.
Tracks orders and shipments and assists with tracing as needed; usually more complex, domestic and may involve international operations.
Runs, analyzes and summarizes operational reports and details; presents information to co-workers or supervisors are needed.
Interfaces with airlines, shipping, truck and related carriers to understand requirements, track shipments or details; operations are typically complex in nature.
Prepares information required for quotes or address potential services; provides more complex quotes.
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and a safe and effective work environment; assists others with understanding operational items.
Develops critical relationships with internal or external customers, assists with account management such as maintaining customer profiles, details and service needs.
Creates and processes invoices, reviews for operational accuracy, works with customers on questions and payment; assists others as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Working with providers, carriers and services in a transportation/logistics environment.
Identifying operational delays.
Communicating and working to resolve potential concerns or delays.
Operating in a fast pace and changing logistics/transportation environment.
Operating in both a team and individual contributor environment.
Communicating with co-workers to provide and receive direction.
Preparing operational reports, queries, and service information.
Preparing quotes and service details.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
