Internship Overview:
The Kendra Scott Summer Internship Program offers students an opportunity to gain exposure to the inner workings of our fast-growing, multi-category, fashion lifestyle brand. We value all of our interns and commit to providing a comprehensive learning experience that aligns with individual interests and career goals.

Position Overview:
The Design Intern will report to the Technical Design Lead and positively represent the brand while creating cross functional partnerships as an interim member of the Design team. The primary responsibility of the Design Intern is to aid in the execution of organizational documents and product specs, resulting in the most clear and detailed hand off of information to cross functional teams.

Responsibilities:Product Specs:
  • Aid in creation and execution of technical specs, primarily through filling out data fields such as
  • Throughout the development and sampling stages, aid in any necessary editing and updating of technical specs.
Organizational Projects:
  • Organize and manage folders in the internal shared drive to improve ease of navigation and comprehension.
  • Reference technical specs from past collections and recommend most used components and diagrams to add to Design standards documents.
  • Assist in the creation of approved component and technique diagrams.
  • Sort and create a catalogue of chain samples stored in the Design Lab.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • The ability to work 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm)
  • Availability to work May 26th- July 31st, 2020. Consideration will be given for special life events with the exception of Internship Orientation (Tuesday, May 26th)
o Fourth of July will be observed as a company holiday
