Able to direct a staff of employees and ensure adherence to corporate credit policies in a multi-site operation. Must be able to produce monthly corporate credit reports, maintain an effective receivable management effort and maximize cash flow through enforcement of credit terms. Exhaust all efforts before debt is written off to Bad Debts. Need complete understanding of all applicable credit and collection laws. Excellent communication skills and computer literacy required.

Overall responsibility for managing the collection of customer accounts, and reporting to upper management the status of the overall A/R portfolio and collection efforts.
Day to day responsibilities for managing the Collections team including determining and setting priorities, monitoring and reviewing performance and communication of results to appropriate personnel.
Reviews A/R reports to ascertain status of collections and balances outstanding and to evaluate effectiveness of current credit/collection policies and procedures and provides relevant reporting.
Reviews delinquent accounts considered to be uncollected to ensure maximum efforts have been taken before assigning bad debt status to account.
Handles special credit arrangements and deviations from standard terms of payment.
Submits delinquent accounts to attorney or outside agency for collection.
Formulates credit and collection policies.
Bachelor's degree, preferred, or minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
