In this role you will be responsible for:
The physician assistant (PA), is a skilled member of the health care team who is qualified by academic and clinical education to provide patient care services under the supervision of staff physicians.
The responsibilities of the PA shall be approved by the Medical Staff Board.
The PA reports and is responsible to the supervising physician, and ultimately, to the Chairman of the Department of Medicine
This position requires providing service to the following age population(s) 18 years and older in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served

If you possess the following qualifications, please apply immediately:
The PA will have successfully completed an accredited PA program, will hold a Bachelor?s Degree, and will have training and experience commensurate with the expectations of the Chairman of the Department of Anesthesia. It is preferred that he/she will have experience in inpatient anesthesia.
It is required that he/she will maintain a current, unrestricted license to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and be currently certified and maintain certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) from The National Commission of Certified Physician Assistants (NCCPA
Required to maintain certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Employment is contingent upon being granted adjunct professional clinical privileges by the AEMC Board of Trustees.
