This position is responsible for building relevant content for an inclusive and diverse experience designed to drive attendance at PEI events. The responsibilities below are not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties of the position. · Responsible for the overall content track management and development:
o Manage the education content for all PEI conferences and webinars
o Ensure conference content is consistent with PEI education objectives and goals
o Provide leadership on PEI event educational session strategy
o In conjunction with staff, plan and evaluate PEI specialty and management conferences
o Research training techniques, new technologies, and training best practices that could be incorporated into PEI’s education programs
o Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to establish professional relationships with speakers, consultants, industry experts, and other contacts
o Analyze evaluation data from assigned meetings, membership data, and relevant committees to continually assess program quality and presentation effectiveness to inform future programming efforts
o Review content for the annual PEI Convention to confirm alignment with expected event programming.
o Assist with speaker procurement and/or theme selection for focused tracks.
· Oversee and manage the PEI event speaker process to include:
o Create, implement, and manage the PEI Internal Speaker Database within SharePoint.
o Work with internal departments to receive and process requests from PEI Members who wish to present at PEI events.
o Work with the Events Managers to book keynote and/or special speakers for all PEI events.
o Coordinate and organize all speaker communications, expenses, and presentations.
· Manage PEI signature events at the annual PEI Convention:
o Work constructively with volunteers and internal departments for sponsor deliverables.
o Entertainment/MC search, interviews, and casting for PEI Priority Club and other events.
o Audience audit (ensuring members, VIP, special guests are invited) and support management. Run of shows, working with production, rehearsals.
o Management of Sponsor deliverables and speakers.
· Responsible for review, development, execution, and oversite of PEI event content.
o Provide suggestions for content improvements if needed.
o Lead and pivot content decisions based on metrics and emerging current events.
o Work with internal team to develop event agendas.
· Collaborate with internal departments to review the content provided aligns with event objectives and is successfully implemented.
· Provide the Communications department with the required information to promote events and speakers.
o Work closely with the Communications team to execute promotional and communications campaigns for conferences/events, and partner with the Director of Events & Special Projects to guarantee seamless planning and execution of conferences/events.
· Work with internal PEI team to utilize data from Needs Assessment and Convention surveys to inform conference content.
· Perform any other relevant duties that may be required to make an event successful.

JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
· Three years minimum related experience and/or training in content creation and management and/or speaker management.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
· Annual salary range is $65,000 to $85,000 depending on experience.
· Benefits package includes medical, dental, retirement plan, per PEI handbook policy.
