The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that meet the needs of both pets and their owners.
Responsibilities
- Provide grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and cats.
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to recommend appropriate grooming treatments.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any observed health issues.
- Handle animals with care and compassion, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process.
- Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques and trends to provide the best service possible.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with pet owners and address their concerns.
- Knowledge of animal handling techniques, including dog handling and basic veterinary care.
- Experience as a veterinary assistant or in pet sitting can be advantageous.
- Familiarity with dog training methods is a plus, enhancing your ability to manage different temperaments.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
