ELAP Services has developed a disruptive business model focused on one of the biggest challenges to US employers healthcare costs. Our solution leveraging advanced claims audit and analytic techniques to significantly reduce health insurance costs for mid-size businesses. Our company collaborates with employers to design self-insured health plans and establish limits for payment of medical claims that are based on actual cost of services from health providers. ELAP is a high growth, innovative company located in the Philadelphia suburbs. ELAP Services may also be involved with direct contracted with select medical providers.

The Internship is an exciting opportunity to grow and prosper in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment alongside our passionate corporate team. ELAP is seeking highly motivated, self-starters to assist in our Legal group.

Duties and Responsibilities

Research statutes, law, and other legally-related matters and convey such information in oral and written form.
Write legal summaries on complex areas of law.
Organize and analyze various legal and compliance matters and assist with document management.
Provide support on other projects as needed, and accomplish tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.
Work with other departments to achieve overall corporate objectives.
Other duties as assigned
Required Experience and Education

Law Student preferred; However, individuals pursuing advanced paralegal program will be considered
Flexible up to 10+ hours per week

Knowledge of LEXIS and / or Westlaw and legal research procedures
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency in Salesforce plus.
Work on a team solving pressing business problems through the application of analytics and legal research.
Research and analyze complex issues and then communicate well thought out and fact-based conclusions to senior management.
