Position Summary: This role will lead all marketing functions for Aerial, and will work with the overall Aerial team to build a unique brand around our products and service offerings, while still staying true to the global Airbus brand. Responsible for supporting the team with creating the overall strategic marketing goals along with generating sales collateral, supporting blog creation, updating and maintaining our website, managing social media accounts, outbound email communications, supporting trade shows, managing vendors etc. Role requires someone who can create and drive the strategic goals, along with leading vendors and various internal and external stakeholders to get the job done.
Marketing Strategy 30%
Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy based on the competitive landscape, markets we are addressing, personas of target customers etc.
Work with the Sales team to develop an overall strategy for customers or prospective customers to include solutions demonstrating the advantages of using Aerial products and services for targeted industries.
Determine for each market the most appropriate plan of approach, which trade shows we should focus on etc.
Work with Airbus communications team to ensure key messages are communicated internally and externally.
Determine strategies around how to best leverage the resources available within Airbus to best support our team
Marketing Campaigns 30%
Being able to accurately describe the customer's journey through our products and services, while articulating these stories to the market.
Assist in the development, implementation and analysis of our email marketing campaigns via marketing automation platforms with the goal of generating qualified leads for our Sales team
Manage the development and execution of a variety of marketing projects with agencies and/or freelance resources. Provide clear and thoughtful feedback that drives strong outcomes and value for our internal and external customers.
Produce and deliver convincing market analysis of marketing activities via Google Analytics, MOZ and other relevant tools to understand the impact of various marketing initiatives and how to improve results.
Marketing Collateral 25%
Research, write, and edit clear and compelling marketing content for various channels, including but not limited to website content, case studies, powerpoint briefings, blogs, press releases, and email campaigns.
Work with Aerial sales team to develop sales collateral for trade shows and meetings as well as Support and manage logistics for all trade shows.
Build a marketing library for the ongoing management of marketing assets.
Provide market feedback for use by product development team.
Digital Marketing 15%
Drive topic development and execution of weekly blog posts to increase blog readership, visibility, and use as a content strategy tool. Manage Aerial's blog via Wordpress and promotion on LinkedIn.
Keep the Aerial website up to date with fresh content while managing full social media presence. Guide and increase employee engagement on LinkedIn

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:
B.A. in Marketing or similar field or combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 8+ years of marketing and content creation experience
3 years of experience with social media and blog management tools
5+ years of experience creating overall marketing, outreach and communications strategies
3+ years of experience with Wordpress, Hootsuite, and other tools
4-5 years of experiencing supporting sales teams in generating sales materials
Experience working with software products
Experience in the geospatial industry preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:
Self-starter who can work in a fast paced environment
Experience with startups and the ability to effectively manage competing demands
High attention to detail and excellent time management skills
Creative and flexible with the ability to think outside the box
Strong business acumen
Demonstrable experience to successfully manage multiple projects involving interdepartmental collaboration.
Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):

Technical Systems Proficiency:
Proficient in Microsoft Suite Office & Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop or Illustrator)

Job Dimensions, Contributions to Success:
Will manage several 100k in annual budget and be a key stakeholder in hitting revenue targets. Failure in the role can mean failure of sales targets. Will be a strategic influencer in the company and an advocate for customers in telling their stories internally and externally.
