Full Job Description
The IT Intern will work with the IT Manager to work on ad-hoc projects to support the daily function of the office and field staff.
Assist with IT support desk tickets and staff troubleshooting. Assist with setting up new hires, including onboarding of laptop or desktop, desk phone, cell phone, employee badges, any additional technologies such as iPads and special software for employees to perform their role. Assist with ad-hoc projects such as phone conversion, updating MDM site, and updating MAC addressing. Client/customer oriented communication, will interact heavily with staff to fix daily issues, reset passwords and ensure that their experience is enjoyable.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Knowledge of MAC OS, Windows 10, iOS, Outlook, document management and diagnostic software, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Sage, Procore, Remote Access solutions
Ability to troubleshoot applications, OS, and hardware issues with excellent problem solving skills
Strong understanding of major cloud software and concepts
Working knowledge of active directory
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
High school diploma
Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness
Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
Keen critical thinking ability and problem-solving skills
Strong communicator – both verbally and in writing
Takes initiative; goes beyond assigned duties
Developing computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
This is a full-time, temporary position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm with lunch from 12pm to 1pm, or otherwise designated by management.
