This position is for Magna Seating South Carolina, a division of Magna Seating.

Develops and maintains a high-reliability, high-uptime capability for the mission-critical computerized manufacturing, business, telecommunication and administrative systems of Magna Seating South Carolina.
Ensures all IT systems capabilities are maximized through effective network and server administration procedures, high levels of systems security and a timely, reliable, accurate systems recovery program.
Work with the organization to develop strategic planning recommendations, ensures best practices and new technologies are promoted and incorporated.
Coordinate IT infrastructure Projects in Regards, Planning, Executions and Budget Control.
Maintain all Servers to local/corporate standards.
Maintain and Configure LAN/WAN equipment to Local/Corporate Standards.
Provide First Level Support for MRP/ERP System.
Provide First Level Support for Shop Floor Equipment.
Coordinate/Manage Support with Outside Service Contractors for Office and Shop floor related IT Equipment.
Responsible for Data Backups and Recovery Procedures.
Responsible to Maintain Documentation for all Servers, Network Equipment and Server Applications.
Responsible to maintain, audit and verify the data recovery procedures and perform business impact analysis.
Comply with Magna, Government and the industry Standards and regulation.
Other Duties as assigned.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Information Systems with a strong manufacturing background, preferably in the Tier 1 OEM automotive parts industry;
Project management experience required;
Results oriented, well organized, strong communication and interpersonal skills, multi-tasking, and attentive to details;
Ability to communicate effectively and work both independently and well with others;
Should possess an in-depth knowledge of the majority and a working knowledge of the remainder of the following technical areas:
Supporting and troubleshooting Desktop Personal Computers and Laptops;
Hand-held devices; bar code scanners, RF tag-readers, card readers;
Server administration including clusters and shared arrays.
Cabling/Connectivity: Ethernet in twisted pair, fibro, and wireless environments
VMware vSphere 4/Virtual Center 4 Administration;
NETAPP data onTap;
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Examples: SAP, TRANS4M (Agilisys) PRO (QAD), Fourth Shift (AremisSoft)
Operating Systems. Examples: Windows 7, 9, 10.
Relational Databases. Examples SQL (Microsoft), Oracle, DB2
E-mail and document management. Examples: Lotus Notes, Microsoft Exchange
Firewalls, Routers and Anti-Virus Protection. Examples: Cisco, Checkpoint, Norton
Office Automation. Examples: Microsoft Office,
Shop floor data collection. Examples: Wonderware (Topro),
In depth knowledge of software security including active directory and 3rd party software.
TELECOMMUNICATION & OTHER:
Internet Protocol based;
Bar coding, Radio Frequency (RF) tracking. Examples: Intermec, Teklogix, Symbol;
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). Examples: ANSI X.12, UN/EDIFACT.
