Job Summary:
The Project Analyst role is responsible for supporting the NA Program Manager with overseeing and the coordination of organizational projects, contributing to project planning, preparing and maintaining documentation, monitoring project activities, continuous improvement initiatives and data analysis. In addition, the role is also responsible for: (1) provide a clear path for escalating and resolving critical program open issues with management, (2) review with the management in identifying opportunities/areas of improvement, (3) coordinate and lead program task force to ensure successful program schedules, ensure proper deliverable completion and approval, and (4) provide weekly/monthly reporting on the status of each program.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver key process improvement projects using associated project management methodologies to plan and coordinate actions, including management of status reports, costs, lead times, communication, and deliverables.
- Support the definition of new processes and the related integration within entire supply chain by providing feedback on feasibility and impact.
- Support preparation and implementation of all processes and requirements making sure that these are properly documented and maintained. Discuss and analyze the requirements with IT to identify and implement the best solution.
- Perform gap analysis and suggest solutions for process improvements, supporting change management. Analyze business processes for risks, lead times, cost price breakdown, volume, customer coverage.
- Establish timeline including activities that must take place for successful completion, determine inter-dependencies, duration of activities, resources required, and any potential risks/constraints.
- Identify organizational opportunities and recommend courses of action.
- Serve as the point of communication for team functional areas related to program management.
- Work with required functions/regions to resolve critical program issues, as required.
- Participate & lead in process mapping exercises to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and areas of improvement.
- Define, prioritize, and review Operational KPI’s daily/weekly/monthly, as required.
- Coordinate project meetings, document action items, follow up on tasks to drive project completion and resolve any issues or roadblocks.
- Promote culture of knowledge-sharing between departments to ensure best practices are leveraged and provide skills/resources as needed.
- Assist in post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned, identify areas for improvement and drive process enhancements.
- Supports and adheres to policies and procedures established within the Dayco Quality System, Dayco Production System, ISO 9001 and all Dayco Safety Standards.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field required.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of Project Management, Supply Chain, Process Improvement (within a warehouse environment & automotive parts distribution preferred but not required).
- Demonstrable skills in Excel & Process Mapping.
- Proven knowledge of supply chain management, process mapping, and project management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with ability to explain complex processes to various audiences/teams.
- Successfully able to handle multiple demands and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Showcase good analytical and evaluating skills.
- Good human relation skills and ability to influence with a strong attention to detail.
- Strategic thinker with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Preferred candidate will speak English and Spanish.
