Note: This role is currently remote; however, will transition to Hybrid.
Provide staffing and recruitment support regarding FTC’s executive resources programs to include SES and political appointee actions. Duties include:
- In consultation with managers, develop and post job opportunity announcements via USA Staffing automated recruitment system.
- Development position descriptions for executive-level positions.
- Draft executive core qualifications narratives, recommend queries responses regarding executive core competencies and qualifications.
- Provide a wide-range of administrative and technical support to FTC’s performance review board.
- Develop audits, reporting, and Executive Review Board (ERB) requirements
- Maintain Executive and Schedule C System(ESCS) database
Requirements
- Specialized experience includes managing and/or administering programs related to senior executives, such as Career and Non-career senior executives (SES), Schedule C political appointees and/or Chief Executive Officers (CEO), that includes recruitment/staffing/qualifications, employment, appointments, performance management and/or executive development.
- A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of ten(10) years of directly related progressively responsible experience performing the foregoing functions. An additional four years of directly related experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 90% of the time.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity types of machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, telephone, and computer printer.
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
