QOSIT is currently seeking an experienced Software Support Specialist in our new support department in Malvern, PA. The candidate will be responsible for Software support, locally and remotely, for a wide range of software, hardware, and network and server infrastructure technology supporting multiple customers in the world.
Provide multi-level user IT support for multiple ifm customers in the world.
Prepare internal user instructions/documentation/procedures for the Support Team.
Document, troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve incidents and requests through completion.
Assist in the support of the virtual server environment including troubleshooting, monitoring, patching, installation, upgrades and disaster recovery (backup and restore).
Propose, purchase, implement and support various IT solutions.
Some travel to international locations required.
A BS degree om Computer Science (or related) is a plus.
Experience in a Help Desk environment installing, upgrading, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware, software, networking and other IT related solutions.
Experience in Systems Administration experience including Windows Server 2008 R2+, Windows 7+, Active Directory and Windows permissions. Basic knowledge in Microsoft SQL administration.
Experience working with SCADA software or other in an industrial environment a plus.
Certifications including A+, MCP or MCSE are a plus.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills and demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels within and outside the company. An enthusiastic, positive, 'can-do' attitude.
Strong problem solving skills, detail oriented and the ability to multitask and demonstrate strong organization skills.
Ability to work effectively in both independent and team settings.
Ability to travel occasionally to international destinations for training and other purposes.
