Junior Research Scientist (Part-Time)
NYU Dentistry Department of Epidemiology and Health Promotion
We are looking for a part- time, experienced, bilingual (Spanish/English) Researcher to join our team. This position will assist in managing organization of a 4-year NIH-funded study designed to examine factors related to dental care utilization among pregnant women. This project will be conducted at Bellevue Hospital and at the NYU College of Dentistry.
The incumbent will:
- schedule and perform standardized dental examinations
- coordinate people and processes to ensure that this research project meets specific protocol milestones in a timely manner.
- measure progress using appropriate systems, tools and techniques and manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs, and budgeting.
- assist in the planning and development of study procedures and will support the program by establishing and maintaining a collaborative relationship with administrators, faculty, and study staff.
- recruit study participants
- oversee and organize oral health exam data collection and organization.
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is $30 - $42 per hour. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
