We service a wide variety of Medium and Heavy Duty trucks, along with some Light Duty trucks, trailers, and other equipment. Position Overview:
West Power is seeking an experienced full time Diesel Technician with advanced electrical and diagnostic skills, based out of our new Nashville shop. The ideal candidate takes pride in the quality of their work, seeks a less rigid, non-corporate environment with a wide variety of vehicles and repairs to challenge them. Compensation is competitive and varies based on experience. Pay is hourly (not flat rate) and weekly. Productivity bonuses up to $18,000 annually. Starting pay rate will depend on candidate's experience and skill level and is evaluated annually for increase. Hours are Monday - Friday 7:00 – 4:00, plus every other Saturday morning. Benefits include: Medical, Dental, and Vision plans, 401k with company match, paid holidays, and paid vacation time.
Duties:
· Perform required maintenance and repair tasks on customer vehicles.
· Work safely and complete repairs properly and efficiently the first time.
· Maintain a clean, orderly shop environment.
· Mobile service calls during business hours as required
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Advanced electrical diagnostic and repair skills.
· Advanced diagnostic skills for aftertreatment systems.
· Experience with HD diesel engine swaps.
· HD Alignment experience desired.
· Ability to work effectively within a team.
· Demonstrated ability to bill at 80%+ efficiency with low comeback rate.
· Clean driving record; CDL is a plus.
· Reliable and trustworthy.

Pay: $34.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
