JOB DESCRIPTION Industrial Maintenance Technician (4675)
Location: East Houston, TX area
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance related activities for all equipment at facility.
Essential Functions:
Troubleshoot and repair any electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic equipment
Perform preventative maintenance tasks
Maintain clean, neat maintenance shop and work area
Ability to weld structure and pipe; carbon and SS
Make recommendations to management for any repairs or replacements needed
Obtain quotes from vendors to perform repairs/replacements
Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to repair parts
Oversee the fire and security systems for the plant
Minor maintenance repairs to ensure production equipment is operational
Assist production managers in improving efficiency of production equipment
Order maintenance shop supplies
Ensure customer owned property is properly maintained
Qualifications:
HS Diploma or equivalent required
Must have strong mechanical and electrical skills
Must be familiar with troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
Must have experience with rotating equipment
3 years of millwright experience
2 years mechanical experience
1 year electrical experience
Type of Assignment:
Shift Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3:30 PM
Required on call rotation every 4 weeks for 7 days, 24/7
Salary:
$30/hour
