As an Operations Assistant you will:
Provide administrative assistance to the Operations Manager and Support Services department.
Travel to other branch locations to provide assistance in all areas of branch operations.
Assist the Operations Manager with branch visits to ensure compliance and credit union policies and procedures are being met.
Provide operational and procedural support to all branches as needed.
Monitor each branch for compliance with federal laws and regulations set forth by the National Credit Union Administration and other regulatory agencies.
Minimize loss exposure by identifying operational deficiencies and recommending corrective action.
Act as a back up to the Support Services department to include the processing of ACH items, APEX orginations, disputes and regulatory compliance.
Prepare and review operational reports, charts, tables and other exhibits as requested for accuracy and informational value.

Skills / Requirements
Professional, well-developed interpersonal skills essential for communicating information to staff and projecting a positive image as a representative for the Credit Union.
Work requires knowledge of Credit Union policies and procedures and all Credit Union services and products. Knowledge of the Credit Union movement required.
Education equivalent of two years of college or an Associates degree preferred.
At least two years of supervisory experience in a financial institution preferred.
Intermediate mathematical skills required (calculations and concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.)
Requires working knowledge of PC applications (Word, Excel, MS Outlook).
