Position Summary:
The Senior Manager Finance Transformation is responsible for leading company-wide transformation initiatives that support the strategic objectives of the Airbus Americas CFO and Executive Leadership. Specifically, they will support the establishment of a regional shared services center in the Americas, serving Airbus Divisions, Subsidiaries and Affiliates in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Latin America.

As a work-stream leader for Financial Services, such as Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Record-to-Report (R2R), they will define and drive both the strategy and execution of a transformation program that impacts process, organization and technology.

In addition, he/she will provide financial leadership for all mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, supporting both the pre-merger readiness planning and post-merger-integration (PMI) lifecycle with financial and project management expertise.

Finally, he/she will also manage a portfolio of business-critical projects that impact a broad cross-section of the CFO's annual targets including enterprise-wide integration programs, legal and operational integrations of subsidiaries and the Finance Compliance Roadmap.

Primary Responsibilities:
Program Management Americas Regional Shared Service Center: (30%)

Engages with project sponsors and external expert consulting and advisory partners to establish a clear vision and roadmap for performing P2P, O2C and R2R services with the right framework to utilize common people, processes and technologies to serve multiple internal customers in the Americas region.
Prepares and delivers program milestone presentations in the program steering committee to an executive audience, ensuring that all expected deliverables for each major program milestone meet quality standards and that decisions and actions are well documented and that progress reporting on their implementation is ensured.
Identifies program risks and opportunities and measures their potential impact against project objectives and KPIs, ensuring the mitigation actions are assigned to appropriate stakeholders and implemented to full effect.
Investment Planning Americas Regional Shared Service Center: (20%)

Identifies leading scenarios for the future operating model of the Shared Services Center organization, considering the physical location, scope of service activities, customers addressed, technologies leveraged and human resources utilized, establishing a target cost of operations for Day-1 and after 1, 2 & 3 years of operation.
Develops a robust multi-year business case to achieve the target operating state, inclusive of all non-recurring investments and expected financial and strategic benefits to be realized through the measurement of overall economic value creation, especially with respect to recurring cost reduction for Airbus customer organizations.
Program Leadership Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestments: (30%)

Support the investment due diligence, strategic evaluation an negotiation process for prospective M&A transactions in partnership with the Airbus Americas Strategy organization, ensuring robust investment cases are developed with identified synergy and value-creation targets to support the M&A decision gate process.
Support the pre-transaction integration process for prospective acquisitions though robust PMO methods and Day-1 readiness planning and program execution, securing cross functional alignment on pre-closing activities and deliverables whilst managing key interfaces with the target organization.
Lead the post-merger-integration (PMI) process for new acquisitions and ventures, securing that effective program governance supports pre-transaction synergy and integration targets while proactively managing program execution risks through multi-functional stakeholder and change management.
Program Management Finance Transformation: (20%)

Working with the Airbus Americas CFO and Finance Management Team, define and support a portfolio of transformation projects to secure cross-divisional integration of the Finance function in the region, building functional capabilities to provide effective controllership, risk management and commercial support to the CEO .
Support the program definition, management and execution of the Finance Compliance Roadmap in the region, providing the Treasury, Accounting and Tax departments with project and change management support .

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:
The position holder must have a demonstrated track record of success managing complex cross-functional transformation initiatives within geographically dispersed matrix organizations. He/she should also possess strong subject matter expertise over the full scope of accounting processes and transactions, including procure-to-pay (P2P), order-to-cash (O2C) and record-to-report (R2R).
In addition, he/she should have demonstrated experience modelling large and complex business cases with > $25 million non-recurring investments in order to secure material improvements on recurring operating costs and accretive rates of return through a positive NPV. He/she must also have experience in all phases of the M&A lifecycle, including pre-merger due diligence and Day-1 readiness planning as well as Post-Merger-Integration.
Finally, he/she must also be a skilled communicator and proven relationship builder, able to operate within a multitude of formal and informal networks while managing the competing interests of varied stakeholders. Expected behavioral competences include:

The candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of experience obtained in international settings and in complex, large and global organizations. Experiences in Airbus Home Country sites, as well as in the Americas region, are highly desired. They should be educated at the Bachelor's level in Commerce, Business Administration or related disciplines, with preference for candidates who have obtained a Master's degree in similar fields. In addition, they should be willing to travel both domestically and abroad for up to 25% of their assigned working hours.

Decision Making, Complexity:
The Senior Manager Finance Transformation shall design, structure and facilitate Program Steering Committee meetings to secure alignment between company executives on the overall transformation program strategy and execution, ensuring a collective focus, resolving issues and reinforcing multi-functional collaboration.
The Senior Manager Finance Transformation shall provide guidance to the Program Steering Committee, proposing decisions that drive capital investments >$25 million cost savings actions >$10 million.
The Senior Manager Finance Transformation shall provide guidance to Airbus M&A Deal Committees and Executive Management on prospective M&A investments of up to $250M.
The Senior Manager Finance Transformation shall define and elaborate a comprehensive set of governance rules and program management methods for all Post-Merger-Integration (PMI) projects in the region.

Organizational information:
The Senior Manager Finance Transformation reports directly to the Head of Transformation & Services Finance. Under their direction is 1 full-time-equivalent (FTE) working at an Analyst level to support the incumbent in their mission.

The Senior Manager Finance Transformation has indirect accountability over the management and planning of program budgets ~ $5 million p.a. through the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process.
The Senior Manager Finance Transformation has direct accountability over the management and planning of investment project budgets ~ $25 million p.a. through the program governance process.
The Senior Manager Finance Transformation has direct accountability to secure new streams of related-party service revenue ~ $5 million through the provisioning of shared services to new and existing internal customers.
